Scope
This notice supplements the PsyLar Privacy Policy for California residents. PsyLar offers anonymous self-insight tests by default and does not require an account to use the core service.
Categories of Personal Information
Depending on how you use PsyLar, we may collect limited information in these categories:
- Identifiers, such as name and email address if you contact us directly
- Internet or network activity, such as limited technical logs used for security and reliability
- Inferences in anonymous aggregate form, such as test completion counts or result type counts
- Information you choose to provide in a support request or message
PsyLar does not store raw test answers or full personal result payloads by default.
Purposes
- Provide, maintain, and improve PsyLar
- Respond to contact requests and support messages
- Protect the site from abuse, fraud, and security risks
- Understand anonymous aggregate usage and completion patterns
Selling or Sharing Personal Information
PsyLar does not sell personal information. PsyLar does not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
California Privacy Rights
Subject to applicable law and verification, California residents may request to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, sell, or share
- Access or delete personal information
- Correct inaccurate personal information
- Limit use of sensitive personal information, where applicable
- Opt out of sale or sharing, if those activities apply
We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
How to Make a Request
To exercise privacy rights, contact us at [email protected]. We may need information sufficient to verify and process your request. Because PsyLar is anonymous by default, we may be unable to identify data that is not tied to contact information you provided.
